A book you should read

the book you should read is a child called it. it is about this little boy and he grows up with a very abusive family. they dont feed him, let him play, or anything. he is just a little kid and has to clean everything. at one point they try to kill him with chemicals. he has to steal food from the store every morning before school to survive. meanwhile he wears dirty clothes to school and has to keep it all a secret. the lock him in a room with nothing to do and he does not have a place to sleep or even a light. it shows how parents can be evil and that chrildren get abused all the time by their parents and not just the dad. many kids everywhere suffer abuse and no one even knows.

A word that defines me

i think the word that describes me is driven of determined. this defines me because i have the will power to be what i want. i am also very determined to get there and do what ever it takes to acheive my goals. i asked what other people in my family thought of this and they think its a good choice. even if it is a little goal all my life i have tried my hardest to accomplish it. i dont slack off ( when it comes to the final thing .... ha ha, especially in this class ). i am driven by me.

The story i read was the Cask of Amontillado. it was about Edgar im guessing because it was in first person. it was about him trying to get revenge on Fortunato. he meet him to tell him about this wine he came across. it was called Amontillado and was supposedly the greatest wine ever. he was trying to trick him into coming to the wine celler to get the amontillado. he kept telling him that it was ok for him not to go because he was sick and that he would get luchesci to try it for him so like he planned. but he insisteaded on going himself. so they get there and their was nitreso he started coughing and was hard for him to breathe so he kept saying to go back and he kept saying no and continued. when they got to the end he locked him up and started to build him in with bricks trapping him for ever with the nitre killing him. " the thousand injuries of Fortunato i had borne as i best could, but when he ventured upon insult, i vowed revenge" pg 17. i choose thes cuz the whole story is about revenge.

Edgar i guess was the main character. because it was in first person it was hard to tell the way the book potrays him is very dark. he is also manipulative, tricky, smart, and evil. the other character was Fortunado. he was easily tricked, not very smart, persistant, and weak because he was sick. i think Edgar does what he does to get revenge. i think he took him to the catacombs so know on e would find him. i think the whole sitution was very easy for him because of the situation. Fortunado had a weak spot for wine so he insisted that he go nad see for himself. "i began vigerously to wall up the entrance of the niche". i think this shows that he was a dark and evil person and that he had a lot of rage to kell somone. he had to really hate that person for him not to even turn around when he was screaming for him. you can tell that he was very emotional and supressed if for him to do something so big, as to kill somone.

If i was incharge or creating a short story film i think that my sister Ariel would be fortunado. i wound be edgar. and my best friend nicole would be luchesi. i think Ariel should be fortunado because she is very easily manipulated and you could tell her anything and she would beleive you so the situation would remain easy to accomplish. i would be edgar because im always trying to trick her into doing stuff. not bad stuff but little things or try to get something she has by telling her mine is great and so much better so she will want to trade me. i dont think i would leave anything out because everything was somewhat important. i would add why he wanted revenge because thats a question they never answered and something im curious about. i tink i would emphasis the reverse physcchology that happened through out the stroy to show how stupid Fortunado was. but other than that i think that all. maybe moderize the language too

Today in History

Today in history we colored a map showing how much 5 primary states owned a lot of area throughtout the world. The British owned the most. We also did a group project in witch we located areas and picked the best 4 to places for them to keep.

Today in Math

today mr zirpolli just confussed us a little more. We learned 7-5 witch deals with multiple angle and product to sum formulas. Basically just somehthing we are never going to use again... haha but its really just a lot of subsitution.

my ring

so last weekend we went on the strip to go looking around. we do something as a family every weekend. so a couple of years ago i got a ring from there and have had it ever since but this summer it broke and i had not had the chance to get another one. so when we went last weekend i got another one and now im really happy , it has always been my favorite ring!
